Methodology

How we score AI visibility

One hundred points across five categories. Deterministic, reproducible, and biased toward what actually moves the needle for AI agents — not what looked clever in 2014.

Crawlability — 15 pts

We fetch your robots.txt and check whether GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, ClaudeBot, and CCBot are allowed. Block any of them and a chunk of the AI ecosystem can't see you.

Classical SEO hygiene — 20 pts

Title length, meta description, single H1, canonical, OpenGraph trio, and image alt text. Boring fundamentals — and most sites still fail them.

Structured data — 25 pts

Valid JSON-LD that parses and uses a real Schema.org type. This is how LLMs reason about what your page actually is.

Agentic / AI-readiness — 25 pts

Do you serve an llms.txt? Any ai:* meta tags? Is your main content actually in the HTML, or only after a JS bundle runs? Agents don't wait for React.

LLM legibility — 15 pts

We send your page to Google Gemini and ask it to describe your business in one sentence. If it can't, neither can your customers' AI assistant.

Bands

  • 80–100 Visible — AI agents can find, parse, and recommend you.
  • 50–79 Partially visible — Hit and miss; you're losing recommendations.
  • 0–49 Invisible — You exist for humans only.
